Jason Mayhew
Jason Mayhew is a highly experienced gundog trainer who began his journey in 2000 while working as a gamekeeper in Herefordshire. His passion for gundog training quickly led him to compete in Working Tests and Field Trials, where he has achieved significant success. Jason's expertise includes training all levels of handlers and dogs, from beginners to those preparing for field trials.
Jason has trained multiple Field Trial Champions, including Kestrelway Drake and Berryshot Bernie, and has represented England at international competitions. His training methods are known for being effective and easy to follow, making his sessions popular among gundog enthusiasts. Jason offers a variety of training options, including one-on-one lessons, group classes, and residential training, all tailored to meet the specific needs of each dog and handler

I love the partnership I have with a dog . I get under their skin, learn what makes them tick . They learn from you what makes you happy & sad for that matter, but together you become intertwined, to perform a duty as a team.
Every time I train one of my dogs, I feel free from all the pressures of life, just totally consumed by the partnership of my dog and me acting as one . This life I have now as a professional Gundog trainer has blessed me with success and a journey to meet new people, new friends and ultimately my wife.
