The ACME Thunderer

For the times when the classic Thunderer doesn’t quite fit the bill, the ACME Tornado is an excellent alternative. Engineered in shatterproof plastic for strength and durability, this is a lightweight pealess whistle that is capable of producing extremely loud and attention-grabbing sounds.

Unlike the pea whistle, the Tornado’s call cannot be varied by altering the blow rate. Instead, this whistle gets right to the point and has a single loud call that travels extremely well, even in challenging situations where background noise levels are high. The advantage of choosing a pealess whistle like the Tornado for cold weather use is that the pea in other types of whistles can sometimes freeze and become stuck within the body of the whistle.
